Compass acquired a minority stake in Beltone Financial in 2012. The investment focused on the opportunity to improve the business and strengthen its position in the Egyptian financial services market.
Working with the company, Compass supported changes to the organisational structure, strategy, and financial management. Beltone returned to profitability within eight months of the investment, according to the firm’s published investment history.
Compass fully exited its investment in Beltone Financial in November 2015. The experience forms part of the firm’s track record in business transformation and financial services.
