Compass Capital, together with a group of investors, acquired a stake in CI Capital from Commercial International Bank in March 2017. The announced transaction consideration was EGP 710 million.
CI Capital offered investment banking, brokerage, asset management, custody, and research, alongside its interest in leasing company Corplease. Compass identified an opportunity to support the continued development of the diversified financial services platform.
